What does the NPR 7600 directive entail?

The NPR 7600 is the Dutch directive for the safe use of hydrocarbons in refrigeration installations and heat pumps. The directive sets requirements for the preparation, management and maintenance of the installation. For explosion hazard, the NPR 7600 refers to the ATEX 137 directive and the NPR 7910.

What does an inspection entail?

An inspection is carried out based on an extensive checklist. The following aspects are checked during the inspection:

Setup;
Ventilation engine room;
Operation of refrigerant detection system;
Emergency stop and alarm system operation;
Personal protective equipment;
Security of the installation.

After the inspection, you receive a report and, if the findings are positive, an inspection certificate.
